Chemtech presents solutions for oil and gas at world congress in Qatar

To present the company’s portfolio in the oil and gas area, during the last week, Chemtech participated, together with Siemens, of one of the greatest world events in the sector, the World Petroleum Congress (WPC). In its 20th edition, the congress happened between December 4-8, at Doha, capital of Qatar. Held for the first time in the Middle East, the WPC featured the participation of over 500 companies and 12 thousand visitors from all over the world.

The WPC, organized every three years, was a great opportunity for Chemtech to present, one more time, its solutions for the oil and gas industry, which has in the Middle East one of its main centers of production and exploration of energy sources. “We are focusing on specific areas of our portfolio, trying to show what sets us apart. We are also seeking to reinforce our partnership with Siemens technologies, like the XHQ and the Comos, as well as our green portfolio of energy efficiency, highlighting our consultancy in the area of furnaces,” stresses Cesar Augustus, senior manager who participated of the WPC with CEO Daniel Moczydlower.

Cesar Augustus, who represents Chemtech in Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates, also highlights the company’s capacity to overcome new challenges in the sector. “The oil reserves are deeper, in more difficult conditions for exploration, and many fields are already reaching their points of maturity. For this reason, the market has been demanding new technologies to facilitate exploration, so that it becomes cheaper and safer,” he says. “I believe Chemtech and Siemens are very well positioned for these challengers, with the development of the subsea technology, for example,” concludes Cesar.
