The Chemtechean spirit... What is it about? Does it really exist?
It no doubt does. And it is something engendered by all those who have passed through Chemtech and especially those who are now with us in this magical moment in our history.
The Chemtechean spirit has many facets. The foremost is no doubt honesty – honesty in our values, in our purpose, in our relations. I would say that honesty is the foundation underpinning our Company. Another facet is competence, responsibility and commitment. It is this facet that first stands out to our clients. They like to work with Chemtech because they know they can rest assured that their projects will be successful thanks to these aspects of the Chemtechean spirit. They know that even our young trainees and junior engineers can be relied on.
Teamwork is another facet. True Chemtecheans trust their coworkers, are desirous of their success, support others’ good ideas and are always supportive of their colleagues, knowing they will be supportive in return. In the engineering game it is hard to win alone – teamwork is key.
Another fundamental facet of the Chemtechean spirit is that we are passionate about our work. We couldn’t have arrived where we are now on our brains alone. The heart has always been, and will always be, the motive force behind a company such as Chemtech. We are driven by the passion we have for what we do. We want to deliver excellent work that will yield benefits beyond technical achievements. We want our people to be fulfilled, energetic, capable of influencing others, and capable of sharing with society what they have gained in Chemtech, in all senses. We want to be active in universities, we want to help raise the esteem of university students (many of them future Chemtecheans), we want our country to flourish, we want to represent this country to the world and demonstrate the competence of Brazilian professionals.
The Chemtechean culture and spirit make the difference and we must preserve them always.
