The chemtechean spirit... What would that be? Does it really exist?

I have no doubts that it does. And it was something built by all those who passed through Chemtech and especially by those who are now part of our team in this magical moment we are living.

The chemtechean spirit has many faces. The first of them is, without a doubt, the honesty. Honesty in the values, in the reasons, in the relations. I would say that honesty is the base of our Company. The other is the one of the competence, the responsibility, the commitment. This face is the one that, on a first moment, stands out in the customer’s eyes. They like to work with Chemtech for they know that their projects will be well succeeded due to these aspects of the chemtechean spirit. They know that they can count even with the young trainees and junior engineers.

There’s also the work team issue. A good chemtechean believes in his partners, thinks in everybody’s success, support other people’s good ideas, is always a good supporter for his colleagues, for he knows that they will also be his supporters. In the engineering game, it is hard to win alone. What matters is team work.

Another fundamental facet of the chemtechean spirit in the love we put into our work. We wouldn’t be where we are now if we had guided ourselves using only our brains. The heart was and it will always be fundamental to a company like Chemtech. We are moved by the love that we have for this cause. We want to make an excellent work and make it bring things other than the technical ones. We want to see people succeed, cheerful, capable of influence others, capable to share with society what they’ve achieved in Chemtech, in all senses. We want to be active in universities, we want to help raising the university students’ esteem (many of them, future chemtecheans), we want our country to improve, we want to represent this country abroad and show the competence of the Brazilian national.

The culture and the chemtechean spirit make the difference, and we need to always preserve it.
