Chemtech finishes Basic Design for Regap

Chemtech concluded in late February this year the revamp basic design (revamp means both revision and expansion of a unit) of U211, of Gabriel Passos Refinery. Located in Minas Gerais, Regap had already invited the company to conduct the basic design of the same unit in 1999. "Until then, Chemtech has not developed basic designs for process units throughout its history. The original basic design of U-211 was the first”, explains the senior consultant Carlos Alberto Rosa.

Chemtech closes another important contract with Braskem

Consolidating its position as an engineering company, partner of Braskem, Chemtech closed, in April, another important contract with the petrochemical company. The project is already being developed by a team from the office of Salvador and will last eight months.

Chemtech stands out at the Comos Software Conference

Earlier this month, Chemtech was a high point at the International Meeting of Comos Software Users in Munich, Germany. During the event, the company presented the work “Integrated Project Automation Strategies in a Complex Green-field Refinery Plant Design Project”, and it was the only company to place such a major refinery project into the software.
