Quality Management System

QMS (Quality Management System) has been applied by Chemtech since 2005, when the Rio's office was accredited by the Bureau Veritas with the Standard NBR ISO 9001. After that, other offices were awarded this certification and nowadays it has been applicable to the cities of São Paulo, Belo Horizonte and Salvador as well. The other offices of the company, which are located in the cities of Vitória, Porto Alegre and Volta Redonda, have been following its guidelines, however they were not yet certified.

The prime objective of the QMS team is to ensure the continuous improvement of the quality of the products and services provided by Chemtech and promote the increase of clients’ satisfaction as a result. This is achieved by means of an up-to-date elaboration and maintenance of procedures, conduction of internal audits, non-conformities control, corrective and preventive actions, training of personnel in applicable documentation, among others.

For this purpose, the company keeps teams responsible for quality in every office in order to give support and provide all the necessary directions so as to continuously improve the Quality Management System’s effectiveness.

Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Management System

HSE (Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Management System) has been applied by Chemtech since 2007, when the first initiatives in creating a system were introduced. In 2009, the Rio’s office was certified with the standards ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. The other offices will also be certified soon.

The primary objective of HSE team is to arrange for employees’ health and welfare related matters to be regarded. For this reason, some actions, such as safety signaling, anti-panic bars installation, use of ergonomic chairs, occupational physician assistance, labor gymnastics classes and elongation, are taken. The optimization of the infrastructure of facilities and furniture also has high priority to HSE, thus allowing us to offer a better comfort and safety to our employees.
